The Cricket Foundation and Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), the world's most famous cricket club and the owner of Lord's Cricket Ground, are forming a new partnership in 2009. Tens of thousands of children in Chance to shine schools will now be introduced to the key Spirit of Cricket messages enshrined in the laws of the game. More information and additional resources are available at www.lords.org/soc
To celebrate this partnership, we are launching a special MCC Spirit of Cricket competition on Chance to shine National Cricket Day. We would like your pupils to design posters to promote the ‘play hard, play fair, have fun' message of the Spirit of Cricket.
Please use the NCD Competition Template – you can download this from the downloads section of this module.
Each school must judge their own entries and choose one winner. Please submit that entry into the National Competition by printing and completing the ‘Chance to shine National competition entry form', attach the winning entry and send it to:
National Cricket Day Competition,
Chance to shine,
Cricket Foundation,
Lord's Cricket Ground,
London.
